My Journey
After searching for decades to find inner peace, mindfulness gave me the tools to live life with joy and to let go of self-limiting beliefs. The frosting on the cake, even after taking other coaching programs, was going through the Mindful Attentionist Program (MAC). In the program, you have to coach yourself to move to the second half of coaching others. It took hundreds of hours of work and tears of self-discovery (every one of them worth it) to become a MAC Professional Coach. (See The Crazy Wisdom Journal Article under Video and News)
Mindfulness and meditation brought me home to myself. It is where I learned to love, me. To love you allows for you to share the essence of who you are and helps others find that essence in themselves. You become a conduit of love. This is where I found The Magic of Meraki. Meraki in Greek means, when you pour the essence of your soul, love, and creativity into what you do, you have found your Meraki. It took this Greek girl a long time to find it and, as my teacher said, "Everything in your life has brought you to this moment."
If you are anything like me, in your search to find inner peace, you've read a plethora of self-help books, watched videos, taken classes, tried positive affirmations, power poses, only to find yourself right back where you started. Stop chasing the fast fix ... the magic is in you and it is a process. If you have the will to change and accept that it takes work and sometimes many tears, you will get there.
Growing up in the 60"s the message of peace and love will always be a part of me. It is what we humans should strive for ... peace and love among all peoples, nations, our planet. Yep, I've always been a bit hippie at heart, and now mixed with mindfulness, I have a desire to serve and teach others how to live more mindfully and embrace where mindfulness meets life.
Mindfulness is a journey that never ends and once you understand that and experience its magic, you will never want it to end.
What I've Come to Know
Being energetic beings, we can easily transfer the energy we emit to all around us. Walk into a room and you can feel if the energy is uplifting or not. Everyone and everything is made up of, and gives off energy.
If you don't understand how our energy affects others, look at Dr. Masaru Emoto's research on how the human consciousness can affect the molecular structure of water. Just take a moment to grasp and think about that ... when up to 75% of our bodies are made up of water. Our energy/vibration affects everything in and around us and flows out to the world. One thing I know, ... we can change our vibration, make it higher, only if we are willing to change mindfully within.
